POMPANO BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The PomP at Pompano Park, in partnership with Caesars Entertainment and The Cordish Companies, proudly celebrated the 2026 Community Charitable Funding Grant Awards Ceremony this evening at the E. Pat Larkin Community Center, located at 520 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL 33060. The ceremony honored 47 local nonprofit organizations, civic associations, and community groups, collectively awarded $192,500 in grant funding to support programs that uplift and strengthen the Pompano Beach community.
The grant awards ceremony, held annually, reflects The PomP’s ongoing commitment to reinvesting in the neighborhoods of Pompano Beach with a focus on the Collier City, Cypress Bend, Palm Aire, and John Knox Village communities. Tonight’s celebration marked yet another milestone in a program that has now distributed nearly $900,000 to community organizations since its inception in 2022.
The awards ceremony brought together awardees, community leaders, elected officials, and supporters for an evening of recognition and celebration. Grant recipients spanned a wide range of service areas, including youth development, arts and culture, education, workforce development, food security, senior services, health and wellness, historic preservation, and neighborhood beautification.

Applications for the 2026 Community Charitable Funding Grant were accepted through the June 30, 2026 deadline and reviewed by a Community Advisory Board (CAB) composed of representatives from the neighborhoods served by The PomP. Each application was evaluated on community alignment, project feasibility, budget soundness, organizational capacity, and measurable community impact.
The 2026 class of awardees represents one of the most competitive cycles in the program’s history, with 47 organizations selected from a pool of applicants across Pompano Beach and the greater Broward County area.
