Ontic Introduces Ontic AI to Reduce Manual Work Across Security Operations

New AI capabilities use the connected data and operational history across the Ontic Connected Intelligence Platform to improve security decision-making
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ontic, the software platform that gives corporate and government security teams one connected view of their entire security operation, today announced Ontic AI, a new set of capabilities within the Ontic Connected Intelligence Platform.
Ontic AI helps security professionals make sense of large volumes of information, surface relevant patterns, and spend less time on routine review. Because the capabilities work with the connected data, relationships, and operational history already in Ontic, teams can use AI with the context of their broader security program.
Security information often remains fragmented across feeds, files, point solutions, and internal systems. An individual signal may mean little without understanding how it relates to a protected executive, previous incident, active investigation, or critical location. Ontic brings those connections together so AI-generated insights reflect more of the context security teams use to assess what is happening and determine what to do next.
“AI initiatives often start with the model. We believe they should start with the context of the security operation,” said Nitin Navare, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Ontic. “Ontic already connects the people, signals, incidents, investigations, and history that shape security decisions. Ontic AI builds on that foundation to make routine work easier and surface connections teams may not otherwise see.”
Ontic AI is designed around the work security teams need AI to perform:
- Summarize complex information. Summaries, available in platform today, turn intelligence feeds, research, entities, incidents, and investigations into clear, shareable overviews.
- Identify developing patterns. Trends, available in platform today, group related signals to help analysts recognize events and narratives as they develop.
- Ask for information in plain language. Chat lets teams explore relevant Ontic data and ask questions using plain language.
- Reduce repetitive review. Deduplication groups repetitive signals so analysts can focus on meaningful new developments.
- Bring context into triage. Copilot surfaces relevant changes, history, and potential next steps while analysts retain control of every decision.
Chat, Deduplication, and Copilot will be available in the Ontic Platform by the end of 2026.
“Ontic AI helps our team make sense of far more information than we could reasonably review on our own,” said the Director of Investigative Services at a Fortune 250 Business Services Company. “By bringing relevant context and patterns forward in the platform we already use, it lets our analysts focus where professional judgment matters most.”
Ontic AI is designed to support, not replace, security professionals’ judgment. Analysts review AI-generated outputs and make final decisions. Ontic does not use client data to train or validate models for the benefit of other organizations, and existing permissions and privacy controls within the Ontic Platform continue to apply.
Attendees at Global Security Exchange (GSX) can experience Ontic AI at Ontic’s booth, #3323. To schedule a meeting at GSX, learn more, or request a demonstration, contact info@ontic.co
