WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — VisionWave Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: VWAV) (“VisionWave” or the “Company”), an autonomous systems and sensing technology company, today announced the release of its September 2026 corporate overview, outlining the Company’s strategy to build an integrated ecosystem of autonomous platforms, sensing technologies and artificial intelligence across defense, homeland security and commercial markets.

The corporate overview, furnished to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as Exhibit 99.1 to the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed on September 8, 2026 under Item 7.01 (and therefore not deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended), presents VisionWave’s technology ecosystem around three interconnected layers: Platforms, Payloads and Intelligence. The architecture described in the overview is intended to bring together unmanned ground vehicles, tactical aerial systems, counter-UAS technologies, RF sensing, AI-enabled command and control and commercial autonomous applications.

“VisionWave is being built around a straightforward principle: we believe autonomous systems can be more capable when the platform, sensors, intelligence and command layer are designed to operate together,” said Douglas Davis, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of VisionWave. “Our objective is to build an ecosystem in which autonomous ground and aerial platforms can share sensing, intelligence and mission-management capabilities rather than operate as isolated systems.”

Building One Ecosystem Across Ground and Air

VisionWave’s ground development programs include the VARAN, RANGER, SCOUT and RECON platforms, each of which remains in development. The VARAN platform is being designed around a payload-agnostic architecture intended to support mission modules including drone canisters, remote weapon stations, radar and RF sensing, ISR and optical systems, logistics and specialist applications.  The mission modules described are contemplated configurations; not all have been built, integrated with the platform or tested.

The Company’s aerial development programs are intended to extend this architecture into tactical ISR, logistics, strike and counter-UAS applications through the TALON family, D-FLY and counter-UAS concepts. VisionWave intends for aerial and ground assets to interoperate through a common command architecture and operator control environment.

Intelligence as the Connecting Layer

VisionWave is developing STRATUM Command and Stratum AI, an AI-enabled sensing, mission-intelligence and orchestration architecture designed to coordinate autonomous systems, AI agents and mission workflows while fusing field information into real-time decision support. These capabilities are under development, are not commercially available, and no assurance can be given that they will be completed, will perform as intended or will be adopted by any customer.

The Company’s broader technology portfolio includes VisionRF, GhostSight, SDNN, qSpeed, DeepWave RF and the xClibre AI video-intelligence technology acquired by the Company. The Company’s intellectual-property portfolio consists of 21 issued patents and nine pending patent applications. Each of the technologies named above, other than the acquired xClibre technology, remains in development and is not commercially available.

Dual-Market Strategy

VisionWave intends to pursue opportunities across defense and homeland security while adapting shared technologies for commercial and infrastructure applications. The Company’s strategy combines internal technology development with acquisitions intended to expand capabilities without unnecessarily duplicating core development. There can be no assurance that the Company will identify, finance or complete any acquisition, or that any acquisition it completes will achieve its intended benefits. Acquisition consideration payable in shares of common stock would dilute existing stockholders.

“Our long-term objective is for VisionWave to represent more than an individual drone, ground vehicle or sensor,” Davis added. “We are working toward an integrated autonomous-systems architecture connecting platforms, payloads, sensing and intelligence through a common technology foundation.”

The complete VisionWave September 2026 Corporate Overview is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed on September 8, 2026, which is available at www.sec.gov and in the investor-relations section of the Company’s website.
