WESTBROOK, CT, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Lee Company is pleased to announce that it is acquiring multiple manufacturing facilities that will expand the company’s production capacity and support its continued growth and innovation.
The acquisitions include a 35,000-square-foot manufacturing building in Beacon Falls, Connecticut, and an 84,500-square-foot manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Together, the facilities will provide the space and infrastructure needed to increase production, accelerate the introduction of new products and technologies, and support growing customer demand across global markets.
The Lee Company’s CEO Marietta Lee said, “Demand for our precision fluid control components continues to grow. The additional space will enhance operational flexibility while maintaining the quality and reliability that our customers expect. These investments will strengthen our ability to support existing programs, pursue new opportunities, and respond to evolving market needs.”
The additional space supports The Lee Company’s long-term growth strategy while complementing continued investment in its Connecticut-based manufacturing operations. The expansion will create employment opportunities for skilled machinists and other manufacturing professionals.
Earlier this year, The Lee Company began acquiring assets from Petron Automation, a precision CNC Swiss machining and contract manufacturing company based in Watertown, Connecticut. As part of the transaction, plans were developed to maintain operations, retain skilled employees, and continue production as part of The Lee Company. Employees and equipment are expected to relocate to the Beacon Falls facility.
Together, these planned acquisitions expand The Lee Company’s manufacturing footprint both within and beyond Connecticut, supporting future growth while creating new opportunities for employees and the communities in which the company operates. They mark an important step in the company’s continued evolution and reinforce its commitment to innovation in miniature through investments in the people, technology, and infrastructure that drive its success.
