New volunteer leadership program gives members a clearer path to contribute, lead, and help advance PTC initiatives year-round
HONOLULU, HI, UNITED STATES, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — PTC today announced the launch of PTC Circle, a new volunteer leadership program designed to strengthen year-round member engagement and help move PTC initiatives from commitment to completion.
For nearly five decades, PTC has brought together leaders across digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and ICT. PTC Circle builds on that role by giving members a more structured way to contribute their expertise beyond meetings and events.
“PTC has always been powered by its members,” said Tony Rossabi, Chairman of Beyond Data Centers and Chair of the PTC Board of Governors. “PTC Circle gives members a clearer way to step forward, contribute, and help turn ideas into action.”
The program aligns volunteer leaders with key areas of PTC’s work, including Asia Pacific engagement, the Submarine Cable Workshop, government and regulatory initiatives, hyperscalers, startups, and PTC Beyond. Volunteers have already been recruited from AMD, Cadmus Group, CBC Tech, EdgeConneX, NJFX, PCCW Global, Southern Cross Cable Network, Team Bax, Techvox, Telstra, Tuvalu Telecommunications Corp, and Vocus. Brian Moon, CEO of PTC, will serve as the central point of coordination for PTC Circle, helping ensure volunteer efforts are aligned, accountable, and moving forward across PTC’s committees and initiatives.
“PTC Circle is about making member participation more intentional, inclusive, and impactful,” said Moon. “Our members bring tremendous expertise across every part of the digital infrastructure ecosystem. This program gives that expertise a clearer structure, a central point of coordination, and a path to help move PTC initiatives from ideas to outcomes.”
PTC Circle will also establish a formal process to recognize sustained volunteer leadership, including recognition at the Awards Ceremony at PTC’27 in January.
