Electricity demand is rising and power flows are changing faster than traditional grid infrastructure can be planned and built. Utilities and transmission operators increasingly need solutions that can unlock additional capacity and strengthen reliability using existing transmission networks on timelines measured in months rather than years.

Prior to joining Smart Wires, Krishna served as Senior Vice President of Hardware and Advanced Engineering at HEVO, where he led OEM relationships, reduced system size and complexity by consolidating hardware assemblies into compact structures, and owned the product roadmap for wireless power transfer. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary engineering teams across the automotive, renewable energy, satellite communications, wireless EV charging, and advanced manufacturing industries. This background will support Smart Wires as utilities integrate grid-critical hardware and software at scale.
