Simplify Cares™ partnered with The Leaders Institute® to build and donate 14 bicycles to Children’s Home Society of Florida at Simplify Connect™, Simplify Group™’s annual customer conference.
Customers, partners and Simplifiers opened the conference with a Build-A-Bike® charity event on September 30 in Orlando.
The event reflected a shared commitment to giving back across Simplify Group™ and its businesses, including Simplify Healthcare®, Simplify Alpha™ and SimplifyX.
The bicycles go directly to children served by Children’s Home Society of Florida, a nearly 125-year-old, statewide movement addressing the root causes of childhood poverty across Florida.
“Team building is most powerful when it points outward. As Simplify Connect™ got underway, our teams didn’t just talk about the future of healthcare; they built something real for kids who needed it. That’s the kind of impact we want every Simplify Connect™ to open with,” said Mohammed Vaid, Founder, Executive Chair and Chief Solution Architect, Simplify Group™.
The initiative brought conference attendees together around a shared community project before the October 1 conference sessions.
“Every bike represents more than a gift. It’s a small piece of stability and joy for a child who has faced more than their share of uncertainty. We’re grateful to Simplify Group™ and The Leaders Institute® for choosing to spend part of their conference building something that will make a real difference for Florida’s kids,” said Andry Sweet, President and CEO, Children’s Home Society of Florida.
The Leaders Institute® hosted the Build-A-Bike® activity, combining team challenges with bicycle assembly and a donation to a local organization.
“It’s programs like Build-A-Bike® that remind every team why the work they do matters. Watching Simplify Group™’s teams turn a series of challenges into real bikes for kids across Florida, then hand them over on the spot, is exactly the kind of moment we build these experiences for,” said Brett Nelson, Consultant and Instructor, The Leaders Institute®.
