RMA and Ford Performance Support Feeliq Innovation Motorsport at AXCR 2026

RMA Special Vehicles engineers and a Ford Ranger Super Duty service vehicle will support the team during the rally from Pattaya to Phitsanulok, Thailand.

BANGKOK, THAILAND, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — RMA Special Vehicles and RMA Group, alongside Ford Performance, are sponsoring and supporting Feeliq Innovation Motorsport at the 31st Musashi Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) 2026.

Taking place from 10 to 15 August, the rally will cover approximately 2,000 kilometres over six days, beginning in Pattaya and finishing in Phitsanulok, Thailand. Feeliq Innovation Motorsport will campaign the Ford Ranger Raptor at the event as part of its 2026 AXCR programme.

Recognised as one of Asia’s premier endurance motorsport events, AXCR tests not only driver skill but also vehicle durability, engineering capability, and operational coordination. Competitors face a constantly changing mix of terrain, including gravel roads, mountain tracks, mud, river crossings, and high-speed off-road sections, while support teams work against the clock between stages to prepare vehicles for the next day’s competition. Success depends on reliability, technical expertise, and the ability to adapt quickly to demanding conditions throughout the rally.

RMA’s support extends beyond event sponsorship to operational assistance throughout the six-day competition. Engineers from RMA Special Vehicles will work alongside Feeliq Innovation Motorsport, providing engineering support and technical assistance throughout the rally. RMA will also provide team and event materials, including shirts and tents.

Supporting the engineering team will be a Ford Ranger Super Duty service vehicle accompanying the team throughout the rally route. Designed for demanding operating environments, the vehicle will transport personnel, tools, spare parts, and essential equipment between service locations, enabling the team to respond efficiently to the challenges presented by one of Southeast Asia’s toughest motorsport events. Prepared by RMA Special Vehicles, the Ranger Super Duty demonstrates the durability and operational capability required to support teams in demanding off-road environments.

Cross-country rallying places sustained demands on preparation and coordination between stages, as well as performance on the route. Feeliq Innovation Motorsport enters AXCR 2026 following its breakthrough performance at the 2025 rally. The team secured third place overall with its Ranger Raptor while competing in the T2A category for production-based vehicles with strictly limited modifications. With the overall classification dominated by purpose-built T1 cross-country rally vehicles, the podium finish represented one of the standout performances of the event.

American professional off-road driver Bailey Cole made an immediate impact during his AXCR debut. Partnering with Thai co-driver Sinoppong Trairat in Feeliq Innovation Motorsport’s No. 142 Ranger Raptor, Cole delivered a consistent performance throughout the rally to secure third place overall while also winning the T2A category. The result highlighted the competitiveness of a production-based vehicle against a field dominated by highly modified T1 competitors.

Building on that momentum, Feeliq Innovation Motorsport returns to AXCR in 2026 with the Ranger Raptor and a renewed ambition to challenge the front of the field. Michael Freeman and Bailey Cole will lead the team’s campaign as it takes on approximately 2,000 kilometres of competition from Pattaya to Phitsanulok.
